Summer Camp

From June 13 to September 2, Villa Fassini in Rome will host the free "Atlantia4Ukraine" Summer Camp open to mothers and children from the Ukrainian refugee community who have arrived in Rome in the recent months.


Recreational activities, sports, yoga, Italian language classes, counseling and a multimedia classroom for children between the ages of 4 and 14 and their families will be offered on a rotating basis. All activities will be daytime and will take place on weekdays (Monday - Friday) approximately from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with lunch included.


The Summer Camp is ideated and realized by Atlantia in collaboration with Sport Senza Frontiere (within the “Joy” project), with the support of Caritas, Community of Sant'Egidio and Save The Children Italy and together with the Ukrainian Embassy in Italy, the Department of Civil Protection of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Municipality of Rome.

Description of outdoor sports activities:

Swimming (alternatively, water games), Rugby, Soccer, Floorball, Volleyball, Karate, Judo, Wrestling, Baseball, Golf, Fencing Recreational sports activities for younger children (mini basketball, mini racquetball, mini ping pong, fun-motor trails).


Description of indoor sports activities:

Karate, Judo, Wrestling, Fencing.


Description of internal workshops:

Psychological listening desk, Food Lab, Digital Lab, Self Empowerment Lab.

Sport Senza Frontiere Onlus was founded in 2011 and pursues the goal of combating poverty and social inequality through projects that use sport as a tool for inclusion, harmonious growth, and emancipation of minors at risk and/or in situations of poverty and social marginalization.
In relation to the humanitarian emergency linked to the conflict in Ukraine, we welcome minors and their families who have arrived in Rome to the Summer Center at Villa Fassini: activities will focus on sports and socio-educational animation, motor, and psychological rehabilitation, in full Sport Senza Frontiere style.

We encourage you to reach Villa Fassini independently or by public transportation.
For those who wish, free shuttle services have been arranged from Monti Tiburtini to Villa Fassini. You will be notified of the shuttle details when confirming your registration.
